Description
A space for women to come together and tap into their ancestral feminine roots where women would gather and sing together with devotion, love and connection.
This will be held in a sacred and ceremonial setting with cacao and herbal tea (optional).
We will be singing songs from a variety of cultural traditions which will be honoured and respected as a sacred act to the indigenous people of those cultures, including some but not limited to:
- Kirtan (indian traditions)
- Shamanic Drumming & sound making
- Women’s songs (Apache Tribe)
- Medicine Music (variety of cultural roots)
I will be leading a gentle warm up at the beginning to allow us to break the ice a little as well as ensure we can sing to our heart content without causing strain.
The practice of sound making and singing is not about sounding the best or being the loudest, but about connecting with the true essence of your voice and expression in a way that respects and honours yourself and others.
