Starting up my own business was something I had never even considered. I simply thought that I would never have that sort of life.
I thought that because I didn’t go to college that I would never have the ‘qualifications’ to run my own business, plus I hadn’t found anything I was passionate about either.
Finding something that I was truly passionate enough about to set up my own business in was a pivotal moment in my life. It was a moment that made me look at myself and the world from a stronger and clearer perspective, that made me think philosophically and feel genuinely interested from a place deep within.
I discovered a depth to myself that I had never felt before. This was spiritual healing.
Spirituality held me in a way I always wanted to be held as a child. A way that made me feel safe and unconditionally loved, yet free to make mistakes and find my true self.
I don’t say spirituality lightly to describe my experience as many in the new age movement do. I say it because I am working alongside ancient energy that has connected me to a devotional path that can only be described as spiritual.
Who am I devoted to?
Myself.
I am devoted to myself so that my children can observe and learn how to be happy.
I work hard to love myself, sometimes I work really, really hard.
And through doing so, I have dramatically changed my life which led me to aid others in changing theirs.
And so Simply Spiritual Healing was born. I chose this name because I wanted to have a name that described exactly what helped me find happiness.
I don’t use the word happiness lightly. I use it to label the sort of happiness that you can only find through hard work. The type that allows you to truly enjoy being alive. That fills you with the feeling of sunshine even when it is raining outside.
Not the happiness we are conditioned to experience where we are just temporarily not depressed.
Simply Spiritual Healing is a business that I have grown with; as it has reached more people I have discovered more layers to who I am.
And every time the business has reached a pivotal moment, so have I.
So, it’s safe to say that this amazing point in the business with the run up to the website launch has activated a shift deep within that has taken me on inward journey, and I know that when we reach the summit of the journey with the website, I will begin to propel into the light again.
I am so truly excited to see how Simply Spiritual Healing continues to grow and where it plans to take us next, but for right now I am nurturing the roots and building the next level to our solid foundation. As I am doing with our family as I nurture my 2-year-old daughter and 3 month old son.
